African fabrics in the spotlight

The 4th edition of the Angels Fashion Show fashion event will take place on September 25th. The information was given this Saturday, July 31, 2021 in Lomé during a meeting with media professionals.
Placed under the theme, `` Africa and its sartorial values ’’, this edition will bring together around fifteen designers from six countries including Benin, Niger, Burkina-Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Mali and Togo which is the host country.
She wants to spark the creativity of African designers especially with African fabrics and focus on local consumption in African countries.
"The observation is that Africans are not able to consume from Africa, they rather prefer to buy fabrics from elsewhere. We therefore want to go through this cultural event, the parade, to educate populations on the need to enhance our fabrics, "said Polo Tchaouta, promoter of the event.
He added that every stylist goes like this, presenting the outfits from his home and praising the merits of his culture.
During the evening, awards will be given to stylists and models. Local products will also be on display.
Those responsible for the event promise many surprises to the populations that they invite to make the displacement.
